In the course of this the following information as result is obtained: <\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>impact by swelling (increase or decrease of volume)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>change in hardness (embrittlement or softening)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>change of the network structure of the material as the result of a chemical attack<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The following benchmarks for sealing applications are recommended:<\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>for static applications the change in volume should not exceed \u20135 to +25%<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>for dynamic applications the change in volume should not exceed \u20135 to +10%<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>the change in tensile strength and in elongation at break should not be higher than after an artificial storage in air with the same time\/temperature conditions as the storage in medium<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Standards: DIN ISO 1817, ISO 1817, VDA 675 301, VDA 675 302,
